The Governors of Callands Community  Primary are looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking clerical assistant to join a team to work in the school office. This is a key role within school where excellent communication and organisation skills are essential. 
The successful applicant will need to operate in a highly organised manner to cope with the demands of this busy office environment where attention to detail and confidentiality are paramount. Callands Community Primary School is an outstanding school with a supportive and hardworking staff, governors and wonderful children who have a zest for learning.
Hours are 30 per week, Monday to Friday.  8.30am – 3.30pm Monday and Friday  and 9.00 – 4.00 Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (1 hour lunch daily)
We are seeking an individual who will:
• have good communication, organisational and customer care skills and be able to work on their own initiative. 
• be professional at all times
• Recognize the importance of confidentiality 
• have a flexible approach to work
• promote and follow required policies and procedures, understanding their relevance to all overall Safeguarding systems
• attend relevant training
