Warrington Borough Council’s Families and Wellbeing Commissioning & Contracting Team is dedicated to commissioning, procuring, contracting and monitoring a range of services which improve the outcomes for children and adults within Warrington. 

We are recruiting to a new role within our Business Support Team, which will provide a high level of focused support to the Adult Social work teams and service providers to assist with commissioning and contracting arrangements. 

We are looking for highly organised and enthusiastic people to join the busy Operational Contracts and Commissioning Team.  The role will require excellent communication skills to ensure the delivery of comprehensive, professional and high quality contract, business and administrative support.

With previous experience in a business/finance administration support role you will have a good working knowledge of Microsoft packages along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills and will be able to work as part of a team and work flexibly according to the needs of the service.

The ability to manage a varied workload with changing priorities is essential. Duties will include use of Carefirst/MOSAIC, excel spreadsheets, electronic diary management and accurate recording and retrieval of data in various formats. The post holder will also be required to accurately complete contract documents of both complex and sensitive information.
