POST DETAILS

Job Title:                  Family Outreach Team Leader

Directly Responsible To:    Family Outreach Team Practice Manager West Warrington                                                                                                         
Hours of Duty:                        37

We are looking for a dynamic individual who will strive to achieve the best outcomes for children young people and their families and we can make a real difference to children’s lives. You will be highly motivated and possess the energy, drive and vision to move this agenda forward. To do this you will need experience of working with vulnerable families. 


Primary Purpose and Scope of the Job:
•    To manage a case load of families in the west area
•    To support the West FOT with the case load offer advice and guidance and modelling good practice
•    To ensure quality around safeguarding practice and procedures within the division
•    To complete regular File Audits in line with the Family Outreach Team Quality Framework 
•    To ensure all family outreach is provided to a high standard and within excellent safeguarding practice to show demonstrable positive impact of interventions
•    To ensure that family outreach offers a holistic and seamless support to families to improve their long term outcomes
•    To offer support and guidance to all staff across Warrington Borough Council and partner agencies who work within Warrington Family support Model
•    To work closely with all Targeted Services Teams to ensure that children and families are receiving appropriate support and or intervention
•    To support workers to deliver a wide range of evidence based interventions to meet the needs of vulnerable families with children and young people aged 0-19
