The post will join an established team of Care Arrangers as part of the Families and Wellbeing Directorate, Operational Contracts and Commissioning, Direct Payments and Care Arranger Team.
The post holder will be responsible for identifying the availability and the ordering of community care services including Domiciliary Care and Respite Care to adults assessed as requiring Social Care by Warrington Borough Council and maintaining information relating to care services on the Councils service user database system Mosaic. The Care Arranger will ensure that cost effective services are commissioned and delivered to service users within agreed timescales.
The post holder will work in partnership with the full range of Social Work Team / Social Workers to ensure that individual care packages are secured with appropriate care providers, administered and recorded in line with the local authorities’ procedures and processes.
The post holder will have the ability to work as part of a small team and the ability to organise and prioritise their work to meet deadlines. Good customer care and communication skills, experience of working in an administrative capacity and the ability to use a range of IT solutions are an essential feature of this post.
