Stockton Heath Parish Council have a vacancy for a Parish Ranger.   The Parish Ranger plays an important role in helping Stockton Heath present a tidy and pleasant environment for residents and visitors.

Our Parish Ranger will be involved in day-to-day duties which will include removing litter, removing weeds, keeping pavements clear within the Parish of Stockton Heath.   An important part of the role is being the public face of the council around the parish.

You will need to hold a current driving licence.

This role will suit someone with the motivation to provide friendly service, take pride in their work and get pleasure from seeing a job well done.    The job will involve lone working, plenty of outdoor exercise, contact with members of the public and working in partnership with colleagues employed by Warrington Borough Council.

Full training will be delivered by our colleagues at Warrington Borough Council.   Access to a vehicle, equipment and the necessary clothing and protection will also be provided.

The opportunity to enrol in a pension scheme on completion of probationary period.
