The school Governors are seeking to appoint a motivated individual, with relevant experience in the maintenance and cleaning of facilities. The successful candidate will be able to manage their own work tasks to provide highly effective maintenance of the school building and site, and ensure high standards of cleaning. Good organisational skills, an ability to prioritise tasks and to manage time effectively are essential.
The successful candidate will be a good team worker with strong interpersonal skills who is able to work well alongside all members of the school community. Good communication skills and an ability to work under the direction of senior staff is essential as well as an ability to manage and monitor the work of cleaners and contractors who attend the site in relation to building and site maintenance.
The position is for 25 hours per week to undertake the efficient maintenance and security of the school. These hours are from 7.15am – 11.45am and return at 5.30pm to lock the school each day, Monday – Friday.
Attendance at training specific to the role is a requirement.
