This course covers:

  • The importance of safe food handling practices and keeping foods safe 
  • Food Safety laws
  • Types of Contamination and the associated risks
  • Bacteriology
  • Personal hygiene and food handling practices

Other details:
The course will be delivered to include; group activities and independent learning. You will receive support and guidance from your tutor throughout and the course. Learners will compete a multiple choice question paper at the end of the course to show their knowledge on Food Safety in Catering and the associated practices.

  • Level 2 Catering course in a College
  • Level 2 Apprenticeship in Catering
