Winter weather
Latest (Tues 20 March, midnight):
Gritting: Primary routes will be gritted starting at 8pm this evening as temperatures are due to be below freezing.
Schools: We rely on schools to update the council with details of any disruption, we'll update warrington.gov.uk/schoolclosures if and when we receive any relevant information. Most schools have systems in place to contact parents directly if there are any closures.
It's cold out there! Take steps to look after yourself, your family, friends, neighbours, and your home.
During periods of severe winter weather, this page will also be updated with the latest information about school closures, school transport, bin collections, community recycling centres (tips), local transport, gritting, and any other useful information from the council and partners.
Please share this page with your family friends and neighbours: warrington.gov.uk/winter and follow us on facebook and twitter.
