Parliamentary elections 8 June 2017

The deadline for registering to vote if not already registered is Monday 22 May – register to vote online now

  • If you're already registered to vote you don't need to register again
  • Poll cards will be issued after 8 May detailing where you need to vote
  • If you know you're not going to be able to vote in person on 8 June please apply for a postal or proxy vote as soon as you can

Postal votes

The deadline for postal votes is Tuesday 23 May at 5pm, anyone who has applied by 10 May will receive their postal pack around 24 May

  • Anyone who applies after 10 May will not receive their pack until around 31 May
  • We are unable to issue postal votes any sooner due to them being printed in bulk
  • Application forms are available direct from the council or from the about my vote website
