Neighbourhoods

Neighbourhoods in Warrington works with the local community to identify community priorities and find solutions to them.  It is a partnership of organisations including the council, health, police, community, faith and voluntary groups, businesses and residents. You can apply to neighbourhoods in Warrington for several types of funding. You'll need to complete the right application form based on where you live.

2016 Volunteer Star awards

The council's Neighbourhoods team and Warrington Voluntary Action organised the 2016 Volunteer Star awards to celebrate the achievements of volunteers across Warrington.  The prestigious event was held on the evening of Tuesday 7 June at the Orford Jubilee Hub.  

Ninety volunteers were invited to attend the awards event and they all received a certificate from the Mayor, Cllr Faisal Rashid.  View the nominees and winners list, plus information about sponsors and a general overview of the event [pdf].
