WWiSH adoption service

Thinking about adopting?  The Warrington, Wigan and St Helens adoption team (WWiSH) are here to help you every step of the way.

Nationally, there are increasing numbers of children in the care of local councils who can't return to the biological parents.  These children now need permanent, loving families who can provide stability and the opportunity for them to thrive and reach their full potential.

To help overcome the challenge of recruiting adopters locally, Warrington, Wigan and St Helens Councils have joined forces and formed WWiSH, an innovative, shared adoption service.  The service aims to make the adoptions process more efficient and more effective through widening the pool of prospective carers.  WWiSH also offers an enhanced adoption support service.

The WWiSH website provides all the information you need if you're thinking about adopting, and you can submit an enquiry form online to register your interest.
