The service focuses on healthy lifestyle advice. We offer an effective, safe approach for patients/clients to change behaviour by incorporate healthy eating, exercise and cooking skills into their life.

This service is suitable for overweight and obese adults (16+) in Warrington. Referrals to this service can be made by your GP or as a self referral by contacting the team or attending a drop-in clinic.

A free and confidential alcohol treatment and recovery service for adults in Warrington. 

Cgl take alcohol treatment out into the heart of the Warrington community and work closely with local GP's. As well as treating those suffering from alcohol dependency, Pathways also work with community groups and partners to provide education and prevention measures to reduce hazardous drinking and future problems. They offer an emphasis on working in partnership with service users and their communities to choose pathways to improve health and well-being. This service will offer integrated and comprehensive care pathways for alcohol treatment, prevention and recovery including: 

  • Screening for alcohol use disorders
  • Advice and information
  • Comprehensive assessment
  • Brief interventions and extended brief interventions
  • Health and wellbeing assessments
  • Community-based alcohol detox and referrals for in-patient detox
  • Acute hospital in-reach
  • Psychosocial interventions to improve health and wellbeing
  • Recovery group work programmes
  • 1 to 1 key worker sessions


Young People’s Drug and Alcohol Service

The Young People’s Drug and Alcohol Service is Warrington’s free and confidential service for young people under 19 who may be affected by their own or someone else’s drug or alcohol use.
