Warrington has an ambitious programme to upgrade and improve all of its parks. The £4.4m transformation is well underway at Victoria park with a new fully accessible sports stand that will include viewing areas, changing room, toilets, kitchen and community room.
Bank park has brand new pavilion complete with cafe and new bowling greens and there is a new children’s playground and adult outside gym equipment.
Walton Hall park and gardens has already seen the construction of a new extension, there have also been new toilets and baby changing facilities built near the entrance to the children's zoo. The second phase of works has now include the upgrading of the childrens play area and transforming the crazy golf into an adventure golf course.
Smaller parks across the town are also benefiting with improvements to play areas, footpaths and woodland.
