This £126 million vision will revolutionise the daily commuter journey and potentially unlock previously inaccessible development land.
Part of the scheme would include a high level crossing of the Manchester Ship Canal which would bypass Bridge Foot and help solve long standing congestion problems.
Not only would this tackle the issue of congestion it has the potential to create up to 1,500 new jobs and 1,000 new homes.
