Dangerous dogs

The definition of a dangerous dog is:

  • A dog that's out of control
  • A dog that can cause injury
  • A person feels that they're in danger of a dog attacking them or others

The banned breed dog types under the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991 are:

  • Dogo Argentino
  • Fila Brasileiro
  • Pit Bull Terriers
  • Japanese Tosa
