Local plan review

Local Plan Review - Preferred Development Option Consultation

We're currently consulting on our Local Plan Preferred Development Option which sets out the our proposed approach to meeting Warrington’s need for new homes and jobs between now and 2037. It also identifies the infrastructure required to ensure that Warrington’s growth is sustainable.

Consultation extension

To ensure everyone has the opportunity to have their say on our Local Plan Preferred Development Option we've decided to extend the consultation period by 2 weeks. The consultation will now close on Friday 29 September 2017 at 5pm.

We've made this decision so that all residents and stakeholders are given enough time to complete our online standard response form following the additional consultation drop in event which is being held on Monday 4 September at the Park Royal Hotel, Stretton Road, Warrington.

The extension of the consultation period will not include any further consultation events. The final event will be at the Pyramid, Palmyra Square, Warrington on Thursday 7 September.

Have your say

To have your say please use our online standard response form as it's the quickest and simplest method for submitting your comments.

There is also a Word version of the form available here:

You’re also invited to comment on the evidence base we've prepared, our conclusions on Warrington’s need for new homes and jobs and the scope of the work we intend to undertake in preparing the submission version of the Local Plan.

The consultation period will now close on Friday 29 September 2017 at 5pm.

Please note: We advise that you open the Preferred Development Option (Regulation 18) Consultation Document [pdf] whilst answering our consultation so you can refer back to it whilst completing our online consultation.
