Deputy Manager - The Lighthouse
The Role
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Deputy Manager to join our No Wrong Door provision to support young people and their families who are on the edge of care.
We are looking for an experienced, child focused individual who has a good understanding of the Ofsted Regulations to support the Registered Manager in the day to day running of the Lighthouse children's home in Warrington and ensure the services we provide to our children is outstanding.
Our No Wrong Door provision supports young people and their families who are on the edge of care, with an outreach service that supports families to remain together, and a short-medium term children's home that supports young people following family breakdown and aims for them to progress to a family setting.
The Lighthouse is our No Wrong Door Residential Hub for young people aged 12-17 and it is rated 'good' at Ofsted. The hub also has our 'in house' clinical psychologist, SaLT, police liaison and police intelligence analyst who help us to offer a holistic and bespoke service to the families we support.
This is a challenging role and we are seeking someone who is flexible, motivated, committed and resilient. You will work as part of a rota which includes evenings, weekends and sleep in shifts.

A bit about us
We have a strong vision for Social Work in Warrington and are developing a new approach to our work by embedding a Systemic Social Work practice model where relationships are key. We are working with the Centre for Systemic Social Work who provide a comprehensive training programme to social care workers and managers across all services.
We are in easily commutable distance of Greater Manchester, Cheshire and Merseyside. We have a car leasing scheme (salary sacrifice) and rail ticket scheme available.
