The Role

Warrington Borough Council Early Help Division are looking to recruit a highly motivated and experienced Early Help Front Door Manager based in the Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH). The role is fixed term until 01 July 2023.

The MASH is the first point of contact for all potential safeguarding referrals and Early Help referrals for children in Warrington. Working in a multi agency and fast paced environment the Early Help Front Door Manager will be responsible for a team of Triage and Assessment workers and Business Support Officer who's main aim is to provide information and advice to professionals seeking guidance on appropriate support and interventions for children and their family.  The post holder will manage risk, oversee case recording and make key decisions about the continuum of need for children, young people and vulnerable adults. The Early Help Front Door Manager will also have direct responsibility for managing the Education Safeguarding Service and key staff.

The management of this team requires a strong understanding of the threshold of need in relation children, leadership and motivation, and clear evidence of managing risk.

The ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
