We are looking for an experienced Family Support Team Manager who has exceptional knowledge of Early Help including the Early Help Assessment process.
You will be managing a team of Family Support Workers in the South Locality of Warrington and will need to work closely with other locality services including Childrens Centre Support Workers, Youth Service, Parenting, Early Help Support Team as well as partner agencies.
The Family Support Workers also work with SEND children and have responsibility to assess packages of support to enable short breaks via a Direct Payment or Personal budget which you will need to oversee.
You will need to develop close relationships with our Childrens Social Care colleagues and have the ability to respectfully discuss families when there are differences of opinion in terms of threshold keeping the child at the centre of all decision making.
You will need to be enthusiastic, flexible and have the ability to make safeguarding decisions.
This is a demanding role that requires keen organisational and communication skills to ensure Family Support Workers are supported to provide an excellent preventative service to families in Warrington.
37 Hours per week
DBS clearance is required.
The ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
