Warrington LiFE – Careers are currently looking to recruit a highly motivated, enthusiastic individual to join our existing team here at Warrington Borough Council.

Our team has a statutory responsibility to ensure that every young person between the ages of 16 to 18 (up to the age of 25 if SEND) remains in some form of education, employment or training.

If successful, you will be responsible for the maintaining and management of a busy caseload of young people and adults, working with individuals and partners to ensure, that as a council, we hold accurate information regarding their current destination/situation.

You will need to be supportive and encouraging in your approach, with the ability to effectively communicate and engage with a range of young people, adults and other partner agencies. Proven experience of supporting young people and adults into learning or work is essential to this role.

All applicants should hold the minimum of a level 3 qualification in Careers Information, Advice and Guidance.

37 Hours per week - some occasional evening work may be required.

DBS clearance is required.

The ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
