We are seeking to recruit a motivated Finance and Administration Manager to join our friendly and dedicated multi-agency Youth Justice Service on a permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking a new challenge and a really   interesting and rewarding role in the public sector.  The Youth Justice Service is a partnership response to youth crime and as such is funded by a range of local and national bodies including Cheshire Constabulary, the Police and Crime Commissioner, Local Authorities, National Probation Service and Clinical Commissioning Groups.

The post will provide a high quality financial accounting service to the Youth Justice Services (YJS) Management Board, Head of Service, The National Youth Justice Board and partner agencies as well as managing the provision of a high quality and professional business support service to YJS Managers, Practitioners and Service Users.

The successful candidate will need to be full/part accountancy qualified (AAT, CIPFA) or equivalent or have significant experience working in an accountancy environment.  Good business support experience, a sound academic background and high level organisational and ICT skills.  You will need to demonstrate high level communication skills and be able to deal sensitively with confidential information and enquiries.

YJS works across the local authorities of Cheshire East, Cheshire West, Halton and Warrington, the post holder will be classed as a hybrid worker so can work flexibly between home and office but will occasionally be expected to travel to and work out of various locations across this area
