The role

Adult Safeguarding Lawyer/Education Lawyers (x2) 37 hours per week, £44,539 - £51,643 inclusive of market supplement

We are looking for enthusiastic and committed lawyers to join our team to work in the fields of adult social care and/or education law.

We offer the opportunity to develop advocacy skills in the Court of Protection, the Special Educational Needs Tribunal and other tribunals. All candidates will need excellent communication skills, team skills and the ability to interpret legislation in a common sense and practical manner, having due regard to the Council’s legal responsibilities.

We offer a supportive environment within a progressive and friendly team in a state-of-the-art building in the heart of Warrington. We are committed to flexible working and offer a hybrid model of working with part of the week spent working from home where appropriate.

Candidates will be appointed at a pay scale appropriate to their experience.
