A great opportunity has become available for a Full Time Registered Children's Home Manager in Warrington.

We are looking for an experienced, child focused manager who has a good understanding of the Ofsted Regulations to ensure the services we provide to our children are outstanding.

As well as an ambitious Children in Care & Care Leavers service, we have been developing our residential provision in line with our sufficiency statement to meet the changing needs of our community. We currently have three Ofsted registered homes, which includes a short break home for children with disabilities and two medium term children's homes. We also offer supported accommodation to children transitioning to adulthood.

A bit about us

We have a strong vision for social work practice in Warrington and are developing a new approach to social work. We are currently embedding a relationship based practice model that has systemic practice at its core. We are working alongside the Centre for Systemic Social Work, who are providing a comprehensive training programme to social workers and managers across our teams.

We also have a range of exciting and impactful developments in Warrington that can be utilised in supporting families, including our 'No Wrong Door Hub', The Lighthouse – a multi-agency hub where young people at risk of going into care get targeted support tocope with the multiple issues they face.

We are within easy commutable distance of Greater Manchester, Cheshire and Merseyside regions. In addition, we offer flexible working – including a blend of working from home/remotely.

Here in Warrington we are proud to be graded Good in all areas in our 2019 Ofsted inspection.
