Social Worker Roles - Adults
An exciting opportunity has arisen for social workers to apply to Warrington's Under 65 Complex Team, Over 65 Managed Care Team and Hospital Teams.
We are working in partnership across the town to shape a health and social care system to be proud of, one that’s fit for the future and built to last.
‘Warrington Together’ requires the very best social work professionals on board with a strengths based approach to the delivery of high quality care and support. Our social workers make a huge difference day in, day out, and our organisation is playing a leading role in efforts to deliver the truly joined up health and social care services the people of Warrington need and deserve.
We currently have vacancies within 3 Adult Teams in Warrington and as a valued member you will be fully supported with your individual case management caseload. You will work within the legislation of the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act and the Mental Health Act in order to deliver personalised assessment, support planning and reviews following the strengths based approach, networking with partners and ensuring holistic outcomes.
Why is Warrington such a great place to work?

There are also opportunities through our collaborative work with two local prisons and support of a family refugee resettlement programme.
What else can we offer you?
- A comprehensive induction programme;
- Excellent training and development opportunities, AMHP, Practice Educator and court skills training;
- Regular monthly reflective supervision;
- Access to the Council’s Employee Support Service;
- Subsidised parking and essential car user/mileage allowances;
- Comprehensive employee benefits package;
Warrington generally offers lower caseloads than neighbouring authorities, a visible and approachable enthusiastic management team, priority planning of regular supervision, agile working, regular training and development with good opportunity for progression.
Given the variety of vacancies available across teams, we would encourage you to be specific within your application regarding your current experience and interests within the social work role and where your preferences would be.
