As the largest provider of leisure, libraries and lifestyle services within in Warrington, LiveWire aim to promote a healthy lifestyle and provide increased participation in activities throughout our facilities including Learn to Swim. As a Level 2 Swim Teacher you will report directly to the Aquatics Manager and work alongside Level 1 Swim Teachers to provide fun and engaging swimming lessons across all our Aquatic sites.

The role

As a Level 2 Swim Teacher you will provide swimming instruction to children and/or adults through our successful Learn to Swim Programme, supporting swimmers to progress through Swim England's Learn to Swim Framework. Hours will vary across sites with the Learn to Swim programme running across all sites are varied times during the week and weekends. In addition to the core Learn to Swim Programme we also deliver Ducklings (Pre-School) sessions, SEND focussed lessons and holiday crash courses which are also delivered by Level 2 Swim Teachers.

What's needed?

Level 2 Swim Teachers require:

- Swim England Level 2 Teaching Swimming Qualification or equivalent

- A current RLSS National Rescue Award for Swimming Teachers and Coaches (NRASTC) or RLSS National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ)

- Previous teaching experience as a Level 1 or Level 2 Swim Teacher

- Experience teaching or assisting beginners through to improvers

- Knowledge of the Swim England Learn to Swim Framework
