Polls to open for elections

Polling stations will be opening in the South and West of the Borough on Thursday 12 October, for a number of council elections.

A poll for the election of a Borough Councillor for Chapelford and Old Hall ward is being held due to the seat becoming vacant, after Faisal Rashid became Warrington South MP and stepped down from his council position. 

Polling stations for the Chapelford and Old Hall by-election will be open between 7am and 10pm at:
•    St Philips Primary School in Westbrook
•    Chapelford Primary School in Great Sankey
•    Bewsey Barns Community Centre in Old Hall
•    Westbrook Old Hall Primary School, Old Hall

Thursday will also see elections taking place for a number of Parish Council positions. Polls will take place for the election of Parish Councillor for Great Sankey Parish Council – Central Ward, between 7am and 10pm at:
•    St Philips Primary School in Westbrook
•    Chapelford Primary School in Great Sankey
•    Bewsey Barns Community Centre in Old Hall

Polling stations will also be open for the election of a Parish Councillor for the Great Sankey Parish Council – South Ward, between 7am and 10pm at the following locations:
•    Great Sankey Primary School
•    Hood Manor Community Centre
•    David Lloyd Tennis Centre
•    Kings Community Centre
•    Great Sankey Children’s Centre

Finally, polling stations will open for the election of a Parish Councillor for Stretton Parish Council between 7am and 10pm at St Matthew’s Church Hall in Stretton.
