Creative Remedies showcase a Christmas classic
Warrington’s Creative Remedies group are coming together to showcase their skills in a one-off Christmas performance.
'A Christmas Carol' will be performed on Monday 18 December at the Pyramid Centre on Palmyra Square. Doors open at 12.45pm with the performance starting at 1pm and everyone is welcome to come along to kick off the festive period in style. Entry is free and refreshments will be available.
Following the performance, there will be live music on stage from three of the Creative Remedies music groups, with everything from pop to rock classics as well as some Christmas favourites thrown into the mix.
Cllr Pat Wright, executive board member for statutory health and adult social care, said: “Creative Remedies is a fantastic programme that uses music and the arts as a way of bringing people together to support each other through difficult times. I’ve been to their Christmas showcases in previous years which were brilliant to watch so I’m really looking forward to seeing what they have in store for us this year. Please come along and join in the festive fun and support these talented community groups.”
Creative Remedies is an art for health scheme, which runs various community groups aiming to improve people’s health and wellbeing. Any Warrington resident over the age of 18 is welcome to attend and all groups are free of charge.
