Would you like to get online or just improve your IT skills?

Warrington Borough Council’s neighbourhood team is running free IT courses and digital drop in sessions at Whitecross Community Centre, Lexden Street, every Tuesday, 2pm – 4pm, with two new courses starting in July.

Are you struggling to cope with your computer, laptop, tablet, iPad or smartphone? If you’re terrified of computers, or a complete beginner, come along to the free beginner course. Topics to be covered include using a mouse and touchpad, getting to grips with the keyboard, going online and tips for searching, setting up an email account and internet safety.

If you have some skills under your belt but want to practise or learn more, come along to the free intermediate course. Topics to be covered include word processing, social media and online safety when banking or shopping and much more.

If you’re looking for something different we also run a digital drop in session alongside our training courses. Feel free to call in anytime between 2pm – 4pm every Tuesday with your queries.

You can learn on one of the laptops at the centre or have a go on your own device, whether that is a tablet, laptop, iPad or smartphone. The neighbourhood team and digital champion volunteers will be available to increase your confidence at your own pace.

For more information, or to book a place on any of the training sessions contact Pauline on 01925 443098 (Tuesday to Thursday, 9am-4pm) or email pauline.wilkinson@warrington.gov.uk
