Warrington Borough Council is urging residents in Burtonwood and Collins Green to have their say.

Consultation is officially under way and the council is encouraging local people to air their traffic and transport concerns for the area.

The Omega development has reached a stage where funding is available to promote measures to target the key traffic issues identified by residents in Burtonwood and Collins Green. The Council has been working with ward councillors to develop potential solutions and design options.

To get involved and have your say:
•         go to www.warrington.gov.uk/info/201132/develop-warrington/2429/burtonwood-environmental-scheme to view the proposed masterplans and fill out a questionnaire
•         email burtonwoodes@warrington.gov.uk or
•         come along to either of the two consultation events on Tuesday 25 September or Tuesday 2 October at Burtonwood Community Centre, Greens Jones Brown, WA5 4LH.

Cllr Hans Mundry, executive board member for highways, transportation and public realm said “The consultation gives the Council the chance to listen to people’s opinions, take on board different views and explore all the options available to improve the area for local people. That is why it’s vital you have your say.”

The four week consultation period started on Monday 17 September and will end on Friday 12 October 2018.
