Artisan Market returns to Walton Hall and Gardens
After a brief winter break, Warrington’s Artisan Market is set to return to Walton Hall & Gardens for 2019 this weekend.
The first market of the year will take place this Sunday 17th March, from 11am - 4pm at the fully refurbished ‘Old Riding School’. The 19th century building, which is located in the Heritage Yard, recently underwent a six figure refurbishment having previously been out of use to the public for over 100 years.
Warrington Market works in partnership with the Walton Gardens Estate team to deliver the event, and the riding school will host over 50 of the region’s best independent producers and creative makers.
Hot cuisine will be available from street food stalwart, Cyprus Kouzina and Stonebakers to name a few, a range of delicious pies will be on offer from Warrington’s own ‘To Pie For’ as well as music and entertainment for the children.
Cllr Tony Higgins, Warrington Borough Council’s executive board member for leisure and community, said: “It’s great to see Warrington Market and the Walton team working together to bring this popular, family-friendly market to Walton Hall & Gardens once more.
“The Artisan Market gives everyone the chance to enjoy a fantastic day out – with some of region’s finest Artisan food, drink, arts and crafts producers, alongside some fabulous entertainment.”
