The Wise Up Awards celebrate schools in Warrington who work to help stop bullying and hate crime, and to make sure it gets reported if it happens. They take place every year.

Wise Up is run by Warrington Speak Up, on behalf of the Warrington Hate Crime Action Alliance, and is supported by Cheshire Constabulary.

Wise Up awards 2020

The 2019 awards were held on Wednesday 5 February 2020 at The Gateway. Awards were given to 35 schools for working to make sure their school is a safe environment where children can be free from bullying and hate crime, and for understanding why this is really important.

Some examples of this excellent work are on the Warrington Speak Up website.
