Report a problem with street cleaning, litter and litter bins
The environment services team are responsible for day-to-day cleansing of public areas, including parks.
They remove litter from council owned land and empty litter bins on streets and in parks, helping to keep the environment clean. The team also remove graffiti from public buildings, clear flytipping (dumped rubbish) and maintain shrub borders on council land. If you need to report one of these issues please use one of the following forms:
You can report a road spillage, litter or an overflowing litter bin that needs emptying.
You can also request general cleaning of a street, road, pavement, alleyway, park, playing field or the town centre.
Please do not report a cleansing issue which is on private land - e.g. a house or a supermarket car park. Report this directly to the property owner.
To report a problem with street cleaning, litter and litter bins you'll need to tell us:
- exactly what the issue is
- as much information as possible about the location of the problem
- You can also upload images of the issue.
You can report an issue anonymously if you wish, but you will need to provide an email address so that we can confirm we have received your report and tell you your reference number.
