A new chapter is unfolding in Social Care in Warrington
We are embarking on a new chapter in social care here in Warrington. Working with local residents to create a healthier, happier town - building a health and social care system to be proud of, one that’s fit for the future and will stand the test of time.
We are looking for social care professionals to delivery high quality care and support, to improve quality of life by shifting focus from dependency to independence and improve health outcomes by empowering residents to be in control of decision-making about care for themselves, their loved ones and other members of their community.
Support and Training
As a valued member of Adult Services you will be supported every step of the way with regular reflective supervision, a manageable and proportionate caseload, a visible and approachable management team and agile working opportunities. You will be provided with training and support to develop your social work skills so you can practice confidently and autonomously.
We currently have a range of social work qualified and non social work qualified community care work opportunities available that will allow you to develop skills in your specialist areas of interest whether that is learning disability, older people, mental health, physical disability, acquired brain injury, hospital discharge or short term, crisis intervention work. There are also opportunities through our collaborative work with two local prisons and support of a family refugee resettlement programme.
