Now in its 9th year this event has helped thousands of young people make those all important decisions when it comes to their careers. Normally held at Orford Jubilee Neighbourhood Hub, this year due to COVID-19 we are going virtual, so join us and representatives from Further Education, Higher Education and Employers including Apprenticeships on Tuesday 6th October from 4.00pm onwards and have all your questions answered.
Warrington LIFE - Training (formally Brighter Futures) delivers accredited and non-accredited training courses to unemployed or inactive individuals aged 16+ across Warrington.
Our accredited courses are delivered through examining bodies such as; City and Guilds, Qualsafe and ASDAN and are designed to support young people and adults kick start their journeys back to employment, with the support and encouragement from our friendly and experienced tutors. Our non-accredited courses are bespoke training opportunities designed and tailored around individuals and their needs, with the over-arching aim of helping young people and adults gain the confidence and transferrable skills needed in order to take the next step, at your own pace, towards the labour market.
One of our strengths is how we can adapt our training for different groups and ages, along with small class sizes providing you with a personable and comfortable learning environment. If you are hoping to gain a job in a customer facing environment, this course is invaluable. This course will help you build upon the knowledge you have developed in the Level 1 course and learn how to implement this when you gain employment.
If you are interested in a career in the hair and beauty sector and would like to learn more, this course is ideal. You will be taught by our tutor who has over 8 years’ experience teaching and has even run their own salon. The Beauty route will enable you to learn practical skills on basic nail practices.

Food Safety in Catering, Level 2, is designed for food handlers in all disciplines of the catering sector. This includes but is not limited to restaurants, café’s, hotels, schools, hospitals, and services that involve food handling such as warehousing.
If you are interested in learning how to safeguard and protect young people and vulnerable adults, this accredited Safeguarding course is ideal. This course is suitable for, but not restricted to, a career in social services, education or health care, on a paid or voluntary basis.
This personal and social development course is aimed at young people and adults who would like to develop their self-esteem and confidence, skills for independence. This course is suitable for people who are interested in employment as a longer term goal, people who are interested in volunteering or would like to contribute to the community in some way.
The employability skills course is suitable for young people and adults who are not yet ready for work/employment but for whom employment is a realistic aim.
