Warrington is subject to the current national lockdown restrictions - please stay at home. For more more information about what this means, visit our coronavirus web pages.
Most residential roads in Warrington are treated twice a year, once in the spring, once in mid-summer with a third application later in the year if necessary.
The treatments are timed to coincide with weed growth for maximum control. However the treatments are very weather dependant and in times of adverse weather our programme may be delayed.
This year's schedule:
We'll keep you updated on our treatment progress throughout the year.
Please be aware that before you report issues with weeds, each treatment takes between two to three weeks to complete and there's a die-off period of up to 21 days after each treatment.
Please note: It's not possible to treat areas where there's no weeds present, as legislation only allows a targeted approach to treat those present at the time of application.
