The Carecall service is an alarm service which is linked to your home through your current telephone line via a Carecall unit and a lightweight portable trigger worn as a pendant or on your wrist. Pressing the button can raise an alarm anywhere in your house or garden.
About the service
Whenever you need emergency help you just push a button on your Carecall equipment and you will be connected to our dedicated all year round, 24-hour control centre.
The centre is immediately notified and our expertly trained staff will speak to you and assess what level of response you need. This can range from caring reassurance, contacting your relatives and friends or the emergency services.

Cost of the service
The weekly charge is £4 - This is the cost of the service which includes maintenance and monitoring.
(If there is no landline in the property – this unit has a SIM card built in)
The weekly charge is £5 - This is the cost of the service which includes maintenance and monitoring.
If there is a second customer at the same house who requires a pendant there is a one off charge of £40
For a key safe to be installed there is a one off charge of £40
If you require an extension lead there is a one off charge of £5
How to sign up
You will need to provide:
- information regarding your health; such as care, doctors and medical details.
- emergency contact details
- bank details if you wish to pay for the service by direct debit
