The CareCall service is a portable alarm which is linked to your home through your current telephone line or WiFi network.

Pushing the button on your pendant or wrist strap will raise an alarm and make an emergency call to our control centre from anywhere in your home or garden.

If you need emergency help, our dedicated and expertly trained staff will be on hand to contact your friends, family or emergency services to get you the help you need when you need it..

Our control centre operates 24-hours a day, 365 days of the year, so you can rest assured that help is only a button push away should you need it.

Will the digital switchover impact me?

Between now and December 2025 all telephone lines in England will be transferred over from analogue lines to digital lines, this includes all telephone providers. To enable your Carecall / telecare equipment to work with the new digital lines, Carecall will need to change your equipment before your telephone line is upgraded.

Carecall are currently in the process of exchanging all customers units and telecare equipment to a digital alternative in preparation for the switch over.

Before your telephone line is changed over to digital, you will be contacted by your telephone provider to arrange a date with you. If you receive a call from your provider and Carecall haven’t been to your home to exchange your equipment, contact the Carecall team on 01925 458000 and let us know you have received your digital change over date. The team will then prioritise the exchange of your Carecall equipment to the digital alternative prior to your change over date with your telephony provider.

Protecting yourself from scams

If you receive any phone calls about your Carecall system and you are uncertain if the call is genuine. Please call 01925 458000 and we can confirm if we have made a call to you.
