LiveWire libraries provide a free, warm, safe, trusted, and universally welcoming community space. All libraries have a core offer of lending books and encouraging reading, information and signposting, and digital support, as well as a variety of activities and events for all ages.

Reading – one of the best ways to improve mental health and economic and educational opportunities. All libraries offer free access to a range of reading materials including digital access to magazines and newspapers

Information – access to trusted and reliable information and can signpost to partners and other organisations who can offer help. Provide sessions to improve access to health services and financial support and advice

Digital – free access to computers and Wi-Fi for personal devices. Free access to online resources such as encyclopaedias, public information, study support and consumer advice

Activities – free activities and events designed to help combat social isolation and loneliness, encourage people to learn new skills and make new friends
