care for Warrington

A brand new website, providing information about the various adult social care roles available with care providers across Warrington, has been launched.

Bringing together all adult social care career roles and opportunities into one place means it is now even easier for people who are considering a career in care to access clear information about the sector, alongside the many job opportunities.

The website, in partnership with Hays, has been launched to help find people who want to ‘Care for Warrington’ and who are currently thinking about a career in the care sector.

Cabinet member for adult social care, Cllr Paul Warburton, said: “The council’s adult social care service, in collaboration with our partner providers, are on a mission to find our next generation of care workers.

“A career in adult social care is a really attractive career choice. Whether you have previous care experience and are considering coming back into the sector, you are thinking about a career change, or are at the beginning of your working life - there are a number of care roles available in Warrington where you can forge a very rewarding career.

“Giving care and providing support to people is an amazing and satisfying role. You don’t need prior qualifications or lots of work experience to start, just a willingness to learn, kindness and patience.  Lots of support and training is available.

“If you are interested in a career in care, or perhaps if you have never considered a career in care before but want to find out more, I’d encourage you to take a look at the new one-stop-shop website to see what the care sector is all about and what roles are available.”
