Following the sell-out Cookhouse Comedy Club events, Warrington Market has announced their latest addition to their Cookhouse Live events programme, the non-stop music quiz!

The non-stop music quiz features all of your favourite anthems played loudly and proudly with a question to follow each round. However, this is not your run of the mill everyday quiz – think singalongs, audience participation, relentless dancefloor fillers, on-stage banter, and much more.

The debut event will take place on Thursday 17 March, from 7.30pm which has offered the perfect opportunity to give the quiz a St Patrick’s Day theme.

Café at the End of the Universe, Eastern Point and Dark Side of the Spoon will be open during the event alongside both of the bars The Hop Emporium and Artisan Bar for any food and drink orders.

Cllr Tom Jennings, cabinet member for economic development and innovation, said: “The non-stop music quiz is another great addition to the Cookhouse Live line-up, and will be a sure win with music and quiz lovers alike battling to be crowned the champions on St Patrick’s Day.

“The Cookhouse Live series is going from strength to strength, providing customers with a varied programme of entertainment which have all been a success. It’s been stirring to watch these events sell out time and time again and to see more people come to the market and Time Square each week as a result.

Bren Riley, who will host the non-stop music quiz, said: “After a brilliant run of events with the Comedy Club, I’m thrilled to be coming back to Warrington Market and adding another arm to the amazing Cookhouse Live events programme here with the Non Stop Music Quiz.

“We’ve had some great crowds at the market historically so I’m really looking forward to launching the quiz here and having a good old party with everyone – make sure you grab your tickets in advance and make the most of the discounts on offer!”

Advanced tickets are now available to buy online and cost £5 per person. Or if you block book your table you can save money, for example if you have a table of 12 you can save £10. Alternatively, limited tickets will be available to buy on the night at a cost of £8 per person.
