Opened in March 1857, Warrington Cemetery has many memorials steeped in history and tell the tales of fame and tragedy, industrial figures, sporting icons and war heroes. Find out more about the history of Warrington Cemetery.

Today, it has burial areas for various religious denominations and there are smaller plots available for cremated remains. There is also a beautiful baby garden. The cemetery is also home to some stunning wildlife and excellent architecture, and it holds a Green Flag award.

If you are visiting with your dog it must be kept on a lead at all times.

Disabled access

Disabled access is available please ring us on 01925 267731 24 hours before you’d like to visit. For weekend visits please ring by 2pm on a Friday. The disabled parking area closes at 3pm.
