Warrington & Co.

Warrington & Co. brings together the private and public sector to promote economic development and physical regeneration in Warrington, under the guidance of a private sector-led board.

The Warrington & Co. team comprises three distinct work streams:

  • Project Development leads on all the major development and regeneration projects within the Warrington Means Business programme.
  • Property & Estates Management are responsible for the Council’s land and property portfolio.
  • The Business Growth Team provide a range of business support services both direct and in partnership with local agencies, promoting inward investment, PR and marketing, and business networking.  The team also co-ordinate the Local Employment offer, providing business with support for recruitment and training, and driving the skills agenda.

The Business Exchange

The Business Exchange sits within Business Growth and is the place for businesses of all sizes and sectors, individual entrepreneurs, established business networks and trade associations to collaborate, resulting in a better connected, more cohesive and stronger economy in Warrington. On the Business Exchange website (www.wbex.co.uk) you will find a calendar of events for business which is comprehensive in its inclusion of networking, workshops, seminars and social events organised by The Business Exchange and other affiliate business forums in Warrington

Cheshire & Warrington Growth Hub

The Cheshire and Warrington Growth Hub provides access to impartial support and advice for people starting, running and growing businesses in the Cheshire & Warrington area.  Information available can include local and national support programmes, funding, business regulations, sector data and more. 

Department for International Trade (DIT)

The Department for International Trade (DIT) helps businesses export and grow into global markets through a programme of business events, workshops, trade missions and direct consultation. They also help overseas companies to invest, locate and grow in the UK.
