Works will soon be starting to carry out road resurfacing to the roundabouts at Cromwell Avenue/Callands Road/Westbrook Crescent and at Cromwell Avenue/Westbrook Way, including their approaches.
The road will be fully closed from Monday 13 October for up to 6 weeks to carry out the road resurfacing works safely, with the roads closed between 7:00pm to 1:00am Monday to Friday nights (Saturday morning), there are no planned works at weekends.
All roads will be reopened to traffic outside these times.
The signed diversion route will be as follows: Europa Boulevard, Westbrook Crescent and vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times and vehicular access will be under the control of the Principal Contractor.
Changes to bus services will be posted at stops prior to the start of the scheme, the works will prioritise reopening the roundabout at Cromwell Avenue/Callands Road/Westbrook Crescent as soon as possible in order to restore the bus service along Callands Road.
The Principal Contractor for this scheme is Tarmac Trading Ltd.
