Commute to Omega Business Park

It’s important that you are able to commute in the local area and keep Warrington moving. To help make getting to work a little easier we have put this guide together to advise you on all your transport options.

Walking to work

Walking is a great way to improve your health, fitness, wellbeing, sleep patterns and energy levels.

If you live nearby save money and get some fresh air by walking to work. Walking is a great way to get around, get to know the local area and the best thing is it’s free!

There are lots of walking and running routes available in the Omega area.

Cycling to work

Cut your travel costs and stay active by cycling to work.  Cycling is a quick, cheap and fun way of getting to work.  If you’ve not been on a bike for a while, we can help you get back onto the saddle.

Free Cycle Training – we can arrange cycle training to help you build your confidence.  This can be a one-to-one session or a small group and can be tailored to meet your specific needs.

Bike Maintenance – look out for free bike maintenance sessions at your workplace or in the local community.

Better by bus

With cheaper fares, electric buses, frequent services and unlimited concessionary travel, using public transport is a great way to get around Warrington.

The main bus operator in the Omega area is Warrington’s Own Buses. Bus routes 13, 14, and 15 operate in the area.

For travel direct to Omega Business Park for occupiers of the site only, you can use Omega Busways. Bus route B52 is operated, along with the B52A for Amazon employees and B52H for The Hut Group employees.

Take the train

If you live further out, trains can be fast and an affordable way to reach Omega Business Park. Warrington has excellent rail connections in the local area, with frequent services to Liverpool and Manchester.

Trains to Warrington West & Times | Northern

Warrington West station is the closest station (1.5 miles from Omega) with regular services to Liverpool and Manchester.  The station is fully accessible with lifts, and there is free cycle parking available. There is also a 250-space car park which costs £1 per 24 hours.

Car sharing

Split fuel costs with workmates and make your journey cheaper and more social. Sometimes people do need to drive to work, so why not offer a lift or join someone you know heading in the right direction?
