Warrington town centre is the perfect place for shopping, whether that’s to find the latest trends at fashion high street stores or to hunt for that perfect gift from your local independent.

Golden Square Shopping Centre is a modern and beautiful mall which includes a range of high street stores, individual local businesses, cafes, and restaurants. The Old Market Place, which is outside Golden Square, has an incredible range of cafes, restaurants and bars to suit the whole family. There’s also a programme of entertainment in the Old Market Place throughout the year, including music festivals like RivFest, play areas in the summer and ice rinks and Christmas markets in winter.

Cockhedge Shopping Centre, which is adjacent to Central Station, is also another great stop on your shopping day out, as it includes 32 major retail brands like ASDA and Argos, as well as independent local businesses and cafes.

The new Warrington Market is the place to go for Fairtrade products and local gems. Our multi-award winning market is a state-of-the-art facility, which borders Bridge Street on one side and the new Time Square public space on the other, is home to more than 50 fantastic independent traders, selling a wide range of fresh food, gifts, goods and services.
