Reservation fees are non-refundable, and any change to the date, time or venue of a ceremony will incur a further non-refundable payment of the same amount.
Any ceremony cancelled in writing more than two months to the day in advance will receive a full refund upon request.
Any ceremony cancelled in writing between two months and up to eight days before the ceremony will receive a 50% refund upon request.
Any ceremony cancelled with fewer than 7 full day’s notice will not be refunded.
As a gesture of goodwill towards our customers, Warrington Registration Service has, where appropriate, waived fees for customers whose notice, marriage or civil partnership was affected by the C-19 pandemic. As of 1 September 2021, Warrington Registration Service will cease to waive any additional charges incurred because of the pandemic, and the statutory fee will be required for each notice of marriage attested.
