Gorse Covert Primary School is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Wraparound Care After School Club Manager to lead our after school provision.

We are seeking a confident and creative individual to lead our growing wraparound care provision. As After School Club Manager, you will take responsibility for planning and delivering a rich programme of engaging indoor and outdoor activities, including opportunities for risky play in line with OPAL (Outdoor Play and Learning) principles.

You’ll lead a small team of Playworkers to ensure a safe, caring, and inspiring environment for all children, fostering independence, creativity, and fun.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Willingness to complete a Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Playwork or equivalent
  • Experience working with children aged 4–11, including team leadership
  • A passion for outdoor play and child-led learning
  • Knowledge of safeguarding, health and safety, and behaviour management
  • Confidence in planning and preparing healthy, light meals and snacks in line with food hygiene
    standards
  • A warm, enthusiastic, and proactive approach to supporting children’s wellbeing
