Could a career in care be for you?

We are embarking on a new chapter in social care here in Warrington. Working with local residents to create a healthier, happier town - building a health and social care system to be proud of, one that’s fit for the future and will stand the test of time.

Are you compassionate and want to make a difference to people’s lives every day? Want to play a part in supporting your local community and caring for the most vulnerable? Enjoy working in a person-centred environment? Then a career in care could be for you. Working in adult social care can be challenging but is one of the most rewarding jobs around.

With the pandemic continuing to put increased pressure on hospital wards and social care services, we are keen to recruit more carers in the short-term to deal with the crisis and beyond.

Full training is available to those recruited, and all staff will be provided with adequate personal protective equipment (PPE) to enable to them to do their job safely and support people who need it most. Recruits will also have access to the COVID-19 and flu vaccines as a care worker, alongside regular testing.
