I am writing to state my objection to the new proposed plans for development in the South Warrington area. This road network in this area is, at best, congested and poor already, queues are an everyday experience in this area and the pollution being generated by so many vehicles must be substantial. We live in the Grappenhall area and one of its greatest appeals is the fact that we are close to shops etc but only a five minute the walk away from finding some countryside to walk and enjoy. This is especially important in light of the recent pandemic and people being advised to get outside. A village life is a community life also and the proposed plan does not take into consideration the community aspect and the general well being that people feel being part of a small community and supporting small local events and knowing the area is safe and secure. The proposed plan will ruin every piece of green belt we have and I?m almost positive there will be token ?manufactured? green spaces left behind which no one will appreciate. There simply must be a more suited area of Warrington in which this plan could be implemented. In short, I object to the proposal 100%.
