Summary of comments

Object to the Local Plan which is flawed in a number of respects. Proposed allocations should follow a comprehensive assessment of existing infrastructure. There should also be a strategy for funding and implementing improvements to address any shortfalls and a realistic assessment of further development that can be accommodated. Landowners should be made to make a fair contribution. In the absence of this work the proposed Local Plan is unsound. There is no justification of the scale of Green Belt release nor the predicted growth nor the volume of proposed developments and no clarity of infrastructure proposed.
