Summary of comments

Objects to the plan as we are going through some of the most dramatic changes in this country since the end of World War 2 with Brexit and other changes. 20 year plan is too long in the circumstances. Birth rates are declining and it is impossible to plan long term. Creating a plan using out of date figures is not appropriate. Retail sector is undergoing significant change. Fiddlers Ferry site should be utilised as a brownfield site and also land at Crossfields Factory. Warrington has significant air pollution problems - the plan will increase this. Homes proposed will not be genuinely affordable - who are the houses being built for? Western Link is not a solution and will create more traffic. Plans for Warrington hospital must be in the plan. Quality of the plan is very poor - plans are too small, lacking in detail. Provision of infrastructure is essential. Green Belt is not being respected in the plan. Proposed employment sites do not offer anything new to justify Green Belt release.

Proposal to put 7,000 homes here are completely unsustainable. It breaches all 5 purposes of the Green Belt. Traffic problems already in the area and associated air pollution.
